Frequently Asked Questions
What is your cancellation policy?
Cook & Associates requests for 48 hours cancellation notice unless it’s for illness, in which case we ask for 24 hours’ notice. For weather emergencies, there is no charge. If you call or email without the 48-hour notice, we will do our best to reschedule you so you won’t be charged. We ask that you respect this policy.
Do you have weekend hours?
In general, it depends on your needs, as a concierge practice we can deliver on weekends and non-traditional hours.
Do you have a sliding scale?
At any time, we have limited openings during the day for people who cannot pay my full fee.
How do I know if I need medication?
Cook & Associates can help with that decision, and let you know all your options. Often, for mild or moderate symptoms, making lifestyle changes (and sticking to them!) can greatly help. For severe depression and other symptoms, medication can get you to the point that you have the energy and motivation to implement the life style changes. At Cook & Associates we are a “one-stop shop” practice and are honored to have a well-regarded Board-Certified Psychiatrist as part of our team.
